That's perfectly alright. Neither of us are used to gifts at all. I hadn't even known of this tradition before coming to Deerington, for we don't have it in our own galaxy.

Yes. I have discovered a few Earth ones that I enjoy. They do seem to like celebrating anything at the drop of a hat.

[He couldn't imagine anyone else naming a tree or holding such stock by them but at the same time he likes it. The human beings here are varied but he misses the multitude of species that he could find no matter where he roamed in the galaxy. Airy being Alastrian and having such a different way of looking at things did ease the homesickness a little bit.]
