Yeah. He remembers them, all of it, like I do, but we're both...different. I keep sayin' that, I know, but I dunno how else to put it.

[ He holds his tea, but doesn't drink it. ]

[Which isn't exactly a lie. More like Ariadne trying to be comforting. She's always been good at both.

For now, she squeezes his arm, before pulling back.

Cas and I thought his soul was gone. Still do.

[ Considering their fight not so long ago, he's pretty confident that's the case. ]

[She hesitates. She swore that she would leave Dean out of it, that he had enough to deal with.

Miss Evelyn and I were, uh, starting to wonder something along those lines as well.

[ He looks confused, then annoyed, then relieved. ]

So it's not just me and Cas thinkin' he's acting weird.

[She shrugs.]

[ He gives a bit of an exasperated look ]

I get that. But I don't think it's unfounded this time. There's something really wrong.

I'm not sure yet, honestly. We don't really know where his soul is, but I have a bad feeling it's back home, in Lucifer's cage.

[ Which...is not great. At all. ]

The cage the Devil's locked in. Sam trapped him in there but he had to go in, too. It's -- complicated.
